In a development that blurs the lines between science fiction and reality, Google’s recently unveiled fully mapped fly brain is now demonstrating its capabilities by engaging with popular video games. This incredible feat sees the insect’s neural network engineered to navigate classic titles such as Doom, alongside the popular rhythm-action hit Beat Saber.
This groundbreaking experiment takes last week’s revelation of the fully mapped fly brain to an entirely new level, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in bio-digital interaction. The project highlights significant advancements in understanding and interfacing with complex biological systems, bringing a fascinating sci-fi concept into tangible reality for the gaming world.
