Blizzard has rolled back a significant and much-debated change impacting player gear in Diablo 4’s ongoing Season 14. Previously, the season introduced a restriction that only allowed players to equip a single crafted-Mythic item at any given time, a decision that generated considerable discussion within the game’s community.

This controversial limitation has now been completely removed through an unannounced patch. The update was deployed for PC players on July 16, with console users scheduled to receive it sometime on July 17. This swift reversal regarding the crafted-Mythic item equipped cap, initially part of Season 14, known as the Season of Death Awakening, offers players renewed freedom in their character builds.
