Capcom has reportedly given fans an unexpected sneak peek at its upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance expansion. Recent new trailers have surfaced, offering an intriguing glimpse into what’s to come. A highlight from these early previews indicates that significant reworks are planned for the game’s combat system, with every single one of the fourteen distinct weapon types expected to see modifications.
The Ascendance expansion is currently slated for release sometime in 2027. While many players were anticipating more news to surface during Gamescom 2026, it seems further official details are now confirmed to arrive later this month at the Tokyo Game Show. These quietly released trailers provide an enticing first look ahead of that upcoming presentation.
