Blizzard has announced that the beta for World of Warcraft Forever is set to launch this week. Revealed at this year’s BlizzCon, this new iteration of World of Warcraft Classic is envisioned as a persistent new destination within the long-running franchise, coexisting with both the contemporary retail version and the existing Classic offerings. Players eager to dive into a different chapter of Azeroth’s history can anticipate access soon.
WoW Forever takes players back to the initial continents, placing its narrative between the events of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and the Molten Core raid. This unique chronological positioning aims to provide a distinct experience for fans, building upon the foundational lore in a fresh way before some of the most iconic World of Warcraft content. It serves as an exciting re-exploration for veterans and newcomers alike. This report is based on information initially published by GameSpot.
