Among the announced roster, two classes will be immediately recognizable to veterans of Diablo 3: the agile Monk and the resourceful Demon Hunter, suggesting a continuity of gameplay styles. However, Blizzard is also introducing a completely fresh archetype: the Plague Knight. This new class has been noted to bear conceptual similarities to Death Knights found in another one of Blizzard’s established fantasy universes, though further specifics on the Plague Knight’s abilities or role remain to be fully detailed.
