A classic Nintendo Entertainment System platformer is making a modern comeback. The title, which first released 38 years ago, is reportedly receiving a complete remake for Steam. What makes this news particularly noteworthy is that the project is being handled by the very same husband-and-wife duo who developed the original game.

This upcoming release holds special significance for the veteran development pair, as it has been indicated that this will mark their final substantial contribution to the gaming world. Fans of vintage gaming can look forward to re-experiencing “The Battle of Olympus” on PC.

The revamped version of the iconic game is currently slated to debut on the Steam platform sometime in 2027. (Based on reporting by PCGamer.)
