World of Warcraft is making a significant leap from its popular online multiplayer format to the classic tabletop roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons. This November, fans can look forward to experiencing Blizzard’s expansive MMORPG in a new, tangible pencil-and-paper format, bringing the rich lore and mechanics of Azeroth to a different kind of gaming table.

The upcoming D&D interpretation of World of Warcraft is designed to provide Dungeon Masters with all the essential components for crafting engaging campaigns set within the fantasy world of Azeroth. Players can expect a comprehensive offering, including the full roster of thirteen classes found in the original MMORPG, ensuring a familiar character creation experience. Furthermore, the adaptation will allow players to engage in activities akin to “grinding renown,” directly reflecting a core progression mechanic from the online game.
