An indie vampire role-playing game from developer Wadjet Eyes Games recently experienced a peculiar event on Steam when it was erroneously classified with an adult content rating typically reserved for explicit material. Fortunately, the platform quickly recognized its mistake and has since reversed the incorrect tagging for the title.

While the initial mislabeling caused understandable concern for Dave Gilbert of Wadjet Eyes Games, the situation ultimately proved beneficial. Wishlists for the game reportedly saw a dramatic increase, essentially doubling overnight, turning a stressful incident into a significant positive. Gilbert was quick to clarify that this was not a deliberate promotional strategy, humorously noting that he was neither so foolish nor so cunning to orchestrate such an event.
